The Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network (IFPN) agencies and counselors stand ready to assist households who have mortgage delinquencies or are facing imminent foreclosure. This service is confidential and free of charge. Our HUD certified counselors will work with you and your lender to create the best course of action for you and your family.

Utility Assistance — The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps Hoosier homeowners and renters pay their heat and electric bills. For more information about LIHEAP please email eap@ihcda.in.gov

Mortgage Assistance — Currently Unavailable. The Indiana Homeowner Assistance Fund (IHAF) made its final payments in August 2024. The program is closed and is no longer accepting applications.
